OTA 2.7.0
Soft Close Doors
For vehicles equipped with this feature, the soft-close door experience is now smoother and more consistent. This update also addresses infrequent functional issues that some cars have been experiencing.
Other Enhancements & Improvements
We resolved an issue that has been causing delays in some vehicles shifting into Drive or Reverse.
Android Auto
Android Auto phone integration is now available and allows seamless integration of AndroidTM phones with the Lucid Air's Glass Cockpit. Android Auto is available both wirelessly and via USB. Android 9 or higher is required for a USB connection, and Android 11 or higher for a wireless connection.
To use Android Auto with an Android phone that is already paired with your Lucid Air, go to Settings > Connectivity > Devices and make sure the Android Auto icon next to the name of the phone you want to use is gold. If not, tap it to enable Android Auto.
If the icon does not appear, try deleting and re-pairing the device, then confirm the prompt to launch Android Auto.
Addressing Watermark Display
Some users may experience a "Pre Production Hardware Not for resale" watermark on the Android Auto displayed on the Cockpit display.
If you encounter a watermark, follow these steps to remove the watermark:
Delete pairing information on Mobile Phone and Head Unit
Ensure your Android Auto app and Android system apps are up to date
Select "Force stop" and clear "Cache" for the Android Auto app [Go to Settings->Apps->Select Android Auto]
Re-pair the Mobile Device to the Head Unit and Launch Android Auto
Note - Android and Android Auto are trademarks of Google LLC. Compatible Android phone and compatible active data plan required.
